3 year check up

You had your 3 year check up this week. At 3 years old you are ...
  • In the 95% and up percentile for height at 40 inches ...
  • In the 50%-75% percentile for weight at 34 lbs and some change. Pretty much, these are the same exact percentiles you've been in since birth.Way to stay consistent!
  • You didn't have to get any shots (Yay!)
  • You impressed the nurses by naming your alphabet letters out of order super fast.
  • You can name all your colors, animals, the sounds they make and counted pieces of paper correctly.
  • You need to get your eyes checked up again for your heterochromia, but its just protocol. Your eyes look great and healthy! One is officially hazel and one is dark brown. Cool!
  • You got naked but refused to take off your hockey jersey until we bribed you. You truly bleed hockey, my child. Luckily Dr. S. is a hockey fan too and thought it was super cool you love the sport so much.
  • You answered a bunch of questions on a questionnaire the nurse gave you. I couldn't help with the answers - and they completely cracked me up. I was able to snap this quick picture of the form before they took it away. My favorite "Whats a chair used for?" and you said "Tripping over!" I laughed really loud when that came out of your mouth. You're hilarious.
  • Pretty much, Dr. S. said you're growing perfect, developmentally on target, to stick with your skating so you can join our town's awesome hockey league and don't come back until you're 4! Deal.
